The most prodigious shoots in Startup SuperNova

Iceland's most promising and promising start-ups presented their business ideas to a full festival hall in Grósku on the main day of Startup SuperNova. After the launches of the shoots, a heck of a party was staged at KLAK's headquarters in Grósku, where one of the country's most popular musicians Emmsjé Gaunt, the legendary Cell 7, stepped up and trilled the people. The investor day, as it is traditionally called at KLAK, far exceeded everyone's expectations. Representatives of Nova, the main sponsor of Startup SuperNova, entrepreneurs, start-ups, mentors and investors all celebrated well with food and drink.

Startup SuperNova, the business accelerator, is a huge jumping-off point for start-ups and an important platform for networking with business partners, experienced mentors and entrepreneurs who possess knowledge and experience in the start-up and innovation environment. The aim of the accelerator is to support further growth of companies related to ingenuity, innovation and technology. Nova is the main sponsor of the accelerator, which took place for the third time this year.

The grassroots has become extremely powerful and KLAK has established itself as a key partner in the supportive environment of innovation in Iceland and has made every effort to be a leading force in the grassroots entrepreneurial community. Heavy-duty women and men from the business world have been involved in the start-up environment from the beginning, and one of those familiar with it is Guðjón Már Guðjónsson, traditionally known as Oz, who took up a position in the panel Startup SuperNova and asked the start-ups from along with Kristján Inga Mikaelsson at MGMT and Jenný Ruth Hrafnsdóttir of Crowberry.

Startup SuperNova is a collaboration between KLAK – Icelandic startups and Nova, which seeks to build business solutions, while KLAK is owned by the University of Iceland, Reykjavik University, the Confederation of Icelandic Employers, the Icelandic Innovation Fund and Origo.
