Numerous quality applications have been received in this year's Startup SuperNova and it is finally time to introduce the participants. Next Friday, July 22, KLAK - Icelandic Startups and Nova will name the startups in Startup SuperNova at a big ceremony in the Gym and Tonic hall at Kex Hostel. KLAK and Nova encourage everyone to come and celebrate with the participants, but the ceremony starts at 17:00 – 19:00.
This year's Startup SuperNova started with a changed format to great fanfare last June in Gróska's festival hall in a three-day Masterclass intended for all start-ups interested in participating in Startup SuperNova. After the Masterclass, the teams had to submit an 18-month action plan along with a standard application to the accelerator itself, which starts on August 3. Then a five-week program begins, where work will be done on business plans, marketing, product development, to name a few, and meetings with mentors who accompany the startups through the accelerator. In addition, access to fully equipped work facilities is offered during the accelerator at KLAK's headquarters in Gróska.
Startup SuperNova has been an extremely good springboard for start-ups and a unique platform for the development of innovative projects of more established start-ups. The accelerator is a joint project between KLAK - Icelandic Startups and Nova, where they strive to build business solutions intended for the international market with proven methodology and KLAK - Icelandic Startups' years of experience in supporting entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Startup SuperNova closes with an impressive investor day on September 9.
