Klak VMS invited Nordic entrepreneurs to visit

A gathering was held for a number of respected mentors under the auspices of Klak VMS at headquarters KLAK – Icelandic Startups in Mýrinn in Gróska. On this occasion, Nordic entrepreneurs and investors who Iceland visited Iceland Innovation Week were invited to a social gathering to introduce themselves and gain insight into the mentoring community. It Is Important For Mentoring Services Klak VMS to set an example and strengthen the network and study foreign entrepreneurs. It was therefore a pleasure to invite Nordic entrepreneurs and investors to share views and attitudes about the start-up environment and innovation culture. Being a mentor is one of the most rewarding jobs imaginable.  Sharing your knowledge, having fun discussions about what's moving the shoot fastest, and enjoying the pleasure of seeing the tips deliver in clear progress month by month is invaluable." according to Magnús Ingi Óskarsson, director Klak VMS.


Mentoring services Klak is based on the best available methodology to maximize shoot performance. The service was formally established at the beginning of this year around the mentoring community Klak, one of the most important components of the startup community support system that supports 60-70 startup teams each year. Klak VMS is the sister program of MIT VMS that has for the past 20 years built a mentoring system to support entrepreneurs within the MIT University community in Boston.

MIT VMS has systematically spread its knowledge to others and there are currently 122 sister programs running in 28 countries around the world. Iceland currently employs 70 ambitious VMS mentors with Klak to support startups and entrepreneurs, but mentoring the mentors results in a greatly increased likelihood that the shoots will succeed, Icelandic benefit society.
