Landsvirkjun signs an agreement with Snjallræði

Landsvirkjun will be one of the sponsors of Cleverness, while Kristín Linda Árnadóttir, Deputy CEO of Landsvirkjun signed an agreement with Kristín Sophia Jónsdóttir, Managing Director of Klak – Icelandic Startups at the time in Grósku at the community accelerator Snjallræði MIT DesignX, which starts this fall. 

The purpose of Landsvirkjun's support for Snjallræði is to provide a good platform for strong entrepreneurs and businesses to further promote social innovation and to give all start-ups a unique opportunity to develop and develop policies so that they can grow and thrive."" Says Kristín Linda Árnadóttir, Deputy CEO of Landsvirkjun.

Goal Snjallræði is to promote innovation that addresses contemporary challenges and is thus an important platform for community start-ups. The focus is on promoting sustainability in innovation and building start-ups that directly support one or more of the UN's global goals from the first steps.

Applications have been opened in Snjallræði It will start for the fourth time. The change will now be made that instead of being an 8-week accelerator will be Snjallræði now a 16-week incubator and a partnership with MIT DesignX has been established and will be Snjallræði therefore certified DesignX growth space.
