Fifteen companies received grants of ISK 1-5 million from \u00cdslandsbanki's Entrepreneurs' Fund, but a total of 90 applications were received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very proud of all the startups that received funding from \u00cdslandsbanki's Entrepreneurs' Fund, but it is especially nice to see that startups from accelerators, entrepreneurship competitions and growth spaces organized by KLAK were awarded funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sprouts BioBuilding<\/em>, On To Something<\/em> and the trio at Sara \u2013 a girl with ADHD<\/em> were completing the 16-week workshops MIT designX, Sjjallr\u00e4\u00f0i organized by KLAK and H\u00f6f\u00f0a peace center recently with a presentation of their projects. It is therefore an added pleasure to see that they received a grant from \u00cdslandsbanki's Entrepreneurs' Fund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founders BioBuilding<\/em> they are Anna Karlsd\u00f3ttir and Jan Dobrowolski. The wand duo at On To Something<\/em> they are Mar\u00eda Krist\u00edn J\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir and Sara J\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir. The team at Sara \u2013 a girl with ADHD<\/em> they are Sara R\u00f3s Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir, Katla Margr\u00e9t Arad\u00f3ttir and Stella R\u00fan Steinth\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrepreneurial duo at Lily <\/em>also received a grant, but Inga Henriksen and \u00c1rd\u00eds Einarsd\u00f3ttir signed up for Gulleggi\u00f0 2022. They, like many idea builders and entrepreneurs, went through Gulleggi\u00f0's Masterclass, finished in the top 10 and did little for themselves and won 3rd place in Gulleggi\u00f0. It has been an adventure like watching the duo build the startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Startup SuperNova was held in August this year and was Deed Delivery<\/em> one of the startups that went through the business accelerator. Deed Delivery<\/em> is the first consumer-oriented communication platform for package delivery. Magn\u00fas Sigurbj\u00f6rnsson, \u00deorvaldur Sk\u00falasson and Einar J\u00f3nsson have done well this year and it will be fun to watch the trio in the future. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
