KLAK - Icelandic Startups invites those interested in Hringi\u00f0a to a lunch on Wednesday, March 29 in Gr\u00f3ska, on the occasion that the business accelerator Hringi\u00f0a has now started its journey for the third time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hringi\u00f0a focuses on the circular economy, where new technologies and methods are highlighted, promoted and supported, which really solve the environmental issues at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of the event is food production in the field of the circular economy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The innovative company and high-tech greenhouse VAXA will go over new production techniques, i.e. vertical farming, so-called vertical agriculture that takes place indoors where all aspects are controlled with great precision and the use of resources is maximized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lunch will be served where the salad from VAXA will be the focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orb develops technology to measure the carbon sequestration of forests in an inexpensive and accessible way to promote responsible carbon offsets and the production of certified carbon units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"????\" RVK Tool Library memorabilia<\/strong>
The Cycle Museum provides communities with fair and affordable access to tools and other items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"????\" Resea Energy<\/strong>
Resea Energy is a research and development company aiming at the production of bio-fuel from the rapid growth of cultivated seaweed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accelerator is managed by KLAK, which for many years has provided assistance in the development of business ideas and brought together a group of stakeholders with value creation as a guiding principle. Hringi\u00f0a's sponsors are the City of Reykjav\u00edk, the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate, Orkuveita Reykjav\u00edkur, Faxafl\u00f3ahafnir, Terra, \u00d6lger\u00f0in and the Swedish Confederation of Industry.
