5 startups from accelerators under the care of KLAK receive funding

Fifteen companies received grants of ISK 1-5 million from Íslandsbanki's Entrepreneurs' Fund, but a total of 90 applications were received.

We are very proud of all the startups that received funding from Íslandsbanki's Entrepreneurs' Fund, but it is especially nice to see that startups from accelerators, entrepreneurship competitions and growth spaces organized by KLAK were awarded funding.

Sprouts BioBuilding, On To Something and the trio at Sara – a girl with ADHD were completing the 16-week workshops MIT designX, Sjjallräði organized by KLAK and Höfða peace center recently with a presentation of their projects. It is therefore an added pleasure to see that they received a grant from Íslandsbanki's Entrepreneurs' Fund.

Founders BioBuilding they are Anna Karlsdóttir and Jan Dobrowolski. The wand duo at On To Something they are María Kristín Jónsdóttir and Sara Jónsdóttir. The team at Sara – a girl with ADHD they are Sara Rós Guðmundsdóttir, Katla Margrét Aradóttir and Stella Rún Steinthórsdóttir.

The entrepreneurial duo at Lily also received a grant, but Inga Henriksen and Árdís Einarsdóttir signed up for Gulleggið 2022. They, like many idea builders and entrepreneurs, went through Gulleggið's Masterclass, finished in the top 10 and did little for themselves and won 3rd place in Gulleggið. It has been an adventure like watching the duo build the startup.

Startup SuperNova was held in August this year and was Deed Delivery one of the startups that went through the business accelerator. Deed Delivery is the first consumer-oriented communication platform for package delivery. Magnús Sigurbjörnsson, Þorvaldur Skúlasson and Einar Jónsson have done well this year and it will be fun to watch the trio in the future.
