Three new employees in the KLAK team

KLAK – Icelandic Startups has joined three new employees.

Jenna Björk Guðmundsdóttir has been appointed project manager and will manage business accelerators organized by KLAK. Jenna has extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, but she has an MPA degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and a Master's degree in innovation, development and sustainability from the University of Geneva in Switzerland. In addition, she has participated in a number of innovation accelerators and entrepreneurial projects around the world, including UNLEASH in India, EWOR Academy and an 8-month business accelerator in Berlin.

Magnús Daði Eyjólfsson has been hired as a project manager and will manage the entrepreneurial competition Gullegginu as well as managing the KLAK VMS mentoring service. Magnús has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Iceland, where he was chairman of Mágusar, the association of business administration students in 2021-2022. He has been working part-time at KLAK, but is now working full-time.

Ólöf Kristrún Pétursdóttir Blöndal has been hired as a project representative and will be involved in the planning and management of business accelerators organized by KLAK. She is pursuing an undergraduate course in high-tech engineering at the University of Reykjavík. Outside of her studies, she sits on the board of Young Entrepreneurs, where she plays the role of business manager, but the projects there are varied and extensive.
