There was a great atmosphere and good attendance at the workshop on grant application writing for the Technology Development Fund, which took place in Fenjamýri, Gróska, on February 5, 2025.
At the workshop, participants received valuable advice on how to maximize their chances of receiving a grant from the fund, which provides funding for development and innovation.
The workshop, led by Hanna Kristín Skaftadóttir, an expert in innovation, financing and artificial intelligence, offered education on key aspects of grant applications.
Common mistakes, formal requirements, and how artificial intelligence can be used in writing applications were discussed. In addition, a question and answer session was offered where participants could receive personal advice.

Among the things that participants learned was how to sharpen the argumentation and content of applications, ensure that they meet all the fund's requirements, and avoid common mistakes that often prove costly. The workshop ended with practical work where participants had the opportunity to further develop their own applications with guidance.
The deadline for applications to the Technology Development Fund is February 17th at 3:00 PM, and it is clear that those who attended the workshop are well prepared to submit high-quality applications.
We thank everyone who attended for their participation and look forward to following the exciting innovative projects that emerge from this work!
