Orkusalen and KLAK - Icelandic Startups have entered into a partnership agreement for Orkusalen's support of Gulleggið, Iceland's largest entrepreneurial competition, for the next three years. Magnús Kristjánsson, CEO of Orkusalún and Ásta Sóllilja Guðmundsdóttir, CEO of KLAK – Icelandic Startups signed the agreement to that effect.
"KLAK wants to pave the way for entrepreneurs who want to make their ideas a reality. Gulleggið is the first step on that journey, but many well-known start-ups in Iceland have started their journey through this 16-year-old competition, including Taktikal, Controlant, Payanalytics and Pink Iceland. It is powerful sponsors like Orkusalen that enable us at KLAK to hold the competition and we are looking forward to the collaboration." says Ásta Sóllilja Guðmundsdóttir, manager of KLAK - Icelandic Startups.
