The six-week business accelerator Startup SuperNova was launched in Gróska on Tuesday, August 4. A record number of applications were received this year and ten outstanding teams were selected to participate: Cirtuic, Comenius, ELORA, FreightFlow, Hrím Bioworks, MAGNEA, Ogma, Saman, Sinope and Strux.

The accelerator started with a light shake-up of the teams, but on Wednesday morning the work began in full swing. Ahead is a packed schedule of workshops, expert guidance and mentoring sessions. There will also be a trip to the TechBBQ conference in Copenhagen. The accelerator will finally end with a special investor day on September 18th, where the results of the summer will be presented to investors.
This year's accelerator is characterized by great energy and diversity, with the ten participating startups including solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and video games. According to Magnús Daði Eyjólfsson, Startup SuperNova project manager, the teams are very ambitious and we are looking forward to the collaboration over the next six weeks.
