Targeted preparation for European grants

Hringiða is a business accelerator for innovative companies and innovative projects within established companies and organizations based on the concept of the circular economy. KLAK – Icelandic Startups manages the accelerator and the focus is on targeted preparation for European grants such as LIFE and Horizon Europe. The accelerator runs for eight weeks or from April 25 to June 15 and consists of lectures and workshops, as well as access to a wide network of mentors from the business world as well as domestic and foreign experts. 

Get to know Hringida's arrangements 

Hringiða will invite all those interested to morning coffee in Gróska on March 29, where the arrangements for the accelerator will be reviewed. The accelerator program and the benefits of participating will be covered in detail. Hringiða's representatives will sit for answers and answer questions from those interested in the concept of the circular economy.

Suitable for companies that are in full operation

Up to ten teams will be selected for the accelerator and the program will begin on April 25 with a joint meeting of the participants and the steering committee of the accelerator, as well as the leaders of the accelerator will be introduced to the game and their roles will be clarified. Selected leaders will advise and mentor participants throughout the accelerator. 

Hringiða's arrangement is based on a layout from Inspiralia. Inspiralia is a Spanish customer-focused company for entrepreneurs and start-ups that specializes in European grant applications. Inspiralia will cover in detail all aspects of LIFE applications during lectures and workshops, but there will also be a clear approach to other European Union funding programs. Inspiralia's experts will come to the country at the end of the accelerator and hold advisory meetings with all participants. 

The program will take place in the afternoon on Mondays and before noon on Tuesdays, and the accelerator will take place at KLAK's house fairs in Gróska and also at the sponsors of the accelerator, where the participants will get to know their diverse activities. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to participate in various events and conferences related to the circular economy.
