The Hringiðu-sprotinn Ratatag appeared on Morgunútvarpið on Rás 2 this morning and presented a solution that focuses on better utilization of people's belongings and less waste. Ratatag connects owners and finders of lost items with a simple QR code system that allows people to easily recover clothing and equipment.
The goal is to extend the product's lifespan, reduce the need for new purchases, and thus support sustainable consumption without sacrificing convenience. This is a clear example of how creative technology and practical ideas can work together to create a positive social impact.
Ratatag is participating in Hringiða 2026 at KLAK – Icelandic Startups, where the team is offered guidance, networking and support for the next steps in development and growth. We are proud to follow the team on this exciting journey.
