Dafna started again on February 2, 2023 in Mýrin in Gróska. Sprota - and Vaxtar beneficiaries of the Technology Development Fund who were allocated in autumn 2022 all have access to Dafna, which is in collaboration with the Technology Development Fund, a four-month growth space consisting of workshops and organized mentoring sessions.
Scholarship recipients met for morning coffee before Mjöll Waldorff, an expert in research and innovation at Rannís, gave a talk until noon. Magnús Inga Óskarsson, director of KLAK VMS and founder of Calidris took over in the afternoon.
The mentoring arrangement, developed in collaboration with the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, provides each grantee with two to four mentors. During the Dafna period, grantees meet regularly with their mentors as a group, ensuring they have a dedicated advisory team.
Dafna's goal is to increase the success of the companies that receive grants from the Technology Development Fund.
Dafna is only for those who have been awarded a grant in the Sprota or Vexti category from the Technology Development Fund.
