The final day of Startup SuperNova 2025 took place with great fanfare in Gróska's festival hall on Friday, September 19. Nine strong teams took to the stage and presented their innovative business ideas to a large group of investors, experts from the innovation sector, and other interested guests.
Startup SuperNova is a six-week business accelerator run by KLAK – Icelandic Startups in partnership with Nova and Huawei. The goal of the accelerator is to support the growth and development of startups through education, networking and strong support. The final day marks the culmination where the teams’ achievements and ambitions are celebrated and new solutions for Icelandic society are born.
The teams presenting on the final day were: MyRise, coreDMC, Alda Security, Bella Books, Anime GenSys, Football Mobility, Atlas and OptiDesign. Their diverse solutions range from health and education technology to digital design and sports.
The day ended with a party in the lobby of Gróska where DJ Karítas and Jón (Jónsi) Jósep Snæbjörnsson kept the nine teams entertained.
