"Change does not happen in a vacuum, nor in a closed room. Challenging each other to look, listen and learn is key to innovation and growth. As a foreign transplant in the Icelandic venture ecosystem, I am thrilled to see how challenging the status quo is starting to fuel a new wave of VC. KLAK has been and is instrumental in bringing this change into the early state startup ecosystem by anchoring accelerator programs for entrepreneurs and investors, and its continued backing of new initiatives will surely increase the quality of venture in Iceland at all levels."
