Haraldur Hugoson from ECA won 1st place in NNPC 2023

Klak and Weird Pickle hosted the Silicon Vikings New Nordics Pitch Competition 2023, which took place in Gróska on the final day of Iceland Innovation Week. 8 outstanding startups competed for the best elevator pitch. Foreign and domestic startups, entrepreneurs and investors were there to watch and encourage the competitors. Haraldur Hugoson, co-founder of ECA, Esports Coaching Academy, didn't worry and took the first place. Valur Þór Gunnarsson co-founder of Taktikal took second place and Stefán Baxter founder of Quick Lookup took third place. 

The startups in the New Nordics Pitch Competition Grand Final were chosen by an international jury from the United States. Silicon Vikings is a professional organization with a strong network that connects the Nordic and Baltic regions with Silicon Valley in California. The organization has been headquartered in Silicon Valley since 1997 with strong ties to all the Nordic and Baltic countries, which is a bridge between regions to strengthen their image and increase their attractiveness.

The eight participating this year were ECA, Taktikal, Quick Lookup, Porcelain Fortress, Horse Day, Melta, Leviosa and Moombix.
