Hringiða's presentation meeting took place on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 live streaming. Hringiða is an accelerator intended to highlight, promote and support start-ups and innovative projects of companies and institutions.
Hringiða's goal is that at the end of the accelerator, the participants will be ready to apply for the European grants of the LIFE program, which are based on the concept of the circular economy. LIFE is one of the EU cooperation programs that has financed projects in the field of climate and environmental issues since 1992. The LIFE program plays an important role in achieving in the coming years the necessary transition to a cleaner, energy-efficient and carbon-neutral society in the spirit of the circular economy. The accelerator runs for eight weeks, from the end of April to June, and is done with experts from Inspiralia and Rannís.
The accelerator is managed Icelandic Startups which for many years has provided assistance in the development of business ideas and brought together a group of stakeholders with value creation as a guiding principle.
