KLAK - Icelandic Startups invites those interested in Hringiða to a lunch on Wednesday, March 29 in Gróska, on the occasion that the business accelerator Hringiða has now started its journey for the third time.
Hringiða focuses on the circular economy, where new technologies and methods are highlighted, promoted and supported, which really solve the environmental issues at hand.
The theme of the event is food production in the field of the circular economy:
The innovative company and high-tech greenhouse VAXA will go over new production techniques, i.e. vertical farming, so-called vertical agriculture that takes place indoors where all aspects are controlled with great precision and the use of resources is maximized.
A lunch will be served where the salad from VAXA will be the focus.

Mar Eco stands for Marine Ecological Solutions, but the goal is to work on environmentally friendly solutions in the production and use of fishing gear. Recycled plastic waste from the sea is used, which supports the blue economy and environmentally friendly fishing.
Orb develops technology to measure the carbon sequestration of forests in an inexpensive and accessible way to promote responsible carbon offsets and the production of certified carbon units.

Resea Energy is a research and development company aiming at the production of bio-fuel from the rapid growth of cultivated seaweed.
