Dafna started again on February 2, 2023 in Mýrin in Gróska. Sprota - and Vaxtar beneficiaries of the Technology Development Fund who were allocated in autumn 2022 all have access to Dafna, which is in collaboration with the Technology Development Fund, a four-month growth space consisting of workshops and organized mentoring sessions.
Scholarship recipients met for morning coffee before Mjöll Waldorff, an expert in research and innovation at Rannís, gave a talk until noon. Magnús Inga Óskarsson, director of KLAK VMS and founder of Calidris took over in the afternoon.
The mentoring arrangement is built in collaboration with the MIT Venture Mentoring Service and is based on the fact that each grantee receives two to four mentors with whom they meet regularly during the Dafna period. The beneficiary meets all his mentors at the same time and thus the beneficiary gets his own group of advisors.
Dafna's goal is to increase the success of the companies that receive funding from the Technology Development Fund.
Dafna is only for those who have been awarded a grant in the Sprota or Vexti category from the Technology Development Fund.
