Treble nominated for Nordic Scalers Award 2026

Icelandic startup Treble has been selected as one of six finalists for the Nordic Scalers Award 2026, which recognizes Nordic companies that excel in growth, funding and global ambition. The nomination is a great recognition for Treble and another example of the strength of the Icelandic innovation environment.

This year, 36 companies from all Nordic countries were nominated, but in the end, six companies were selected as finalists. These include Treble from Iceland, along with Flatpay and Lunar from Denmark, Yazen from Sweden, IQM Quantum from Finland and Two inc from Norway. The final awards will be presented in Stockholm on May 28.

The fact that Treble has been included in the group of six most interesting and valuable scale-up companies in the Nordic region shows how strong a foundation there is in Iceland.

The Nordic Scaleup Award is awarded to companies with a minimum turnover of 2 million euros, at least 10 employees and annual growth of at least 20% for the last three years. The award is presented in collaboration with Nordic Innovation and Dagens Industri and emphasizes scalability, sustainable growth and strong defenses against competition.

KLAK – Icelandic Startups would like to congratulate Treble and wish them good luck in the finals, as Icelanders also have a representative on the judging panel. But it is none other than Freyr Friðfinnsson, a former employee of KLAK.
