Sigríður Mogensen is the new chairman of the KLAK board

The new board of Klak - Icelandic Startups took office at the company's general meeting last April 18. Sigríður Mogensen, director of the industry and intellectual property division of Samtaka Industriin, took over as chairman of the board of Klak - Icelandic Startups.

Sigríður Mogensen succeeds Soffíu Kristína Þórðardóttir, former product portfolio manager at Origo, who now manages the start-up company PaxFlow. Soffía has been the backbone of KLAK through all the projects that were in place in the last working year and into the new working year, but the new manager, Ásta Sóllilja Guðmundsdóttir, took up her duties on March 1 this year. 

Hrönn Greipsdóttir, from the Norwegian Innovation Fund, was elected vice-chairman, and Dröfn Guðmundsdóttir, nominated by Origo, was elected as a new member of the board.
